Buying your new home overseas may seem a little daunting, but in Turkey
it is hassle free, easy, your money is secure and it is great value.
Owning a property in Turkey is a lot easier than in many other European countries. Foreigners may purchase land and property in Turkey in their own names provided that the properties are located within towns and designated boroughs.
The deeds are issued in your own name and are registered with the local land registry. It is a simple and secure process.
Prices range from £65,000 for a one bedroom apartment and £75,000 for a 2 bed apartment. Own your own detached villa with private garden, patio and plunge pool from only £200,000!
We will be with you every step of the way, and can help with everything from financing to furnishing, and discounted flights to rental income.
Once you have found your perfect home, simply secure it with a £1,000 reservation deposit. This payment can usually be made by credit card.
We will then introduce you to an English speaking lawyer, or you may choose to use your own. Lawyers normally charge 1% of the purchase price and in most cases it is not payable until you complete your purchase.
You will then have a period of 21 days to pay the balance of your deposit. This is likely to be 10% of the purchase price. We can introduce you to a UK based independent financial advisor who can help you with any financing help you may need.
At this point you have exchanged contracts.
Prior to completion your will visit your new home and will have the chance to inspect your new property. Once all snagging issues have been rectified and to your satisfaction the title deeds can be signed.
Property in Turkey does not come with a mortgage, therefore, you have the option of either arranging your own either in the UK or paying the balance.
Once again we can recommend a UK based independant financial advisor to help you with your decision.
Finally, on the day set for completion, we will take you to the Notary, with your Lawyer, to sign the title deeds. You will then be handed the keys and your new home in the sun is now yours to enjoy.
After completion we will help you to set up your utility bill payments through a local bank direct debit system.
